Duke Adden of Barle is a minor character in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom, appearing in book two, The Queen Who Ruled by Herself.

He was one of the leaders of the rebellion against Ilhovin the Peacemaker and Queen Macca under Henrik of Belleth. Together with his friend Duke Rek of Leutefloss he delivered Henrik to Macca in an attempt to save his life but was beheaded for his treason by Eldest Brother Annert on Macca's orders, though.
