Alvo

Alvo Nollson is a character in the serial An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. A stable hand at Whithorse since early childhood, Alvo grew up with Prince Temmin and was his best friend; they are approximately the same age. Alvo fell in love with Temmin over their years together, and though they experimented sexually when young, Temmin was oblivious to Alvo's real feelings until just before he left for Tremont Keep when he came of age. Alvo confessed his love for Temmin and asked to give oral sex to the prince just before he left. Temmin consented but left the whole episode rather confused.

Alvo takes on much greater significance in the finished version of book one than he did in the drafts.
