Anda Barrows

Anda Barrows is a character in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. She has thick brown wavy hip-length hair, brown eyes and is of plump build.
She is the senior Supplicant to the Lovers' Temple under the Embodiments of Neya and Nerr, Allis and Issak Obby, alongside Temmin. She was originally taken on as a Supplicant by the previous embodiments of The Lovers, Idia Graerson and Hendas Rowles.
She has a sister, Janetta, who is two years younger than her. Janetta is also the prettier of the two, and generally closer to the Tremontine ideal for a woman. When her mother made it clear that the rather small Barrows family fortune would not be enough to launch both her and her sister into society and suggested sending Anda to the Kammodys to try her luck in Litta, Anda instead chose to try her luck at the Temples.
Anda is rather irrepressible, very sexual, and has a teasing, almost sisterly relationship with Temmin. They share the Supplicants Chamber in the Temple and sometimes sleep together in the same bed.

Janetta is also the prettier of the two, and generally closer to the Tremontine ideal for a woman (besides her full figure and plain face, Anda's tendency of being a bit of a potty mouth in private is working against her there). When her mother made it clear that the rather small Barrows family fortune would not be enough to launch both her and her sister into society and suggested sending Anda to the Kammodys in Leutefloss–where they apparently prefer larger women– Anda instead chose to try her luck at the Temples.
