Cole Morton

Cole Morton is a character in the serial Scryer's Gulch. He is the former lover of Simon Prake.

They were sent to Scryer's Gulch by the New Valley Printing Ethergraph Company to open the first ethergraph office in town, two years before the story starts. Eighteen months later Simon's father bought out Cole, and the two headed back to Jackson where they split up shortly after. Cole then apparently took up a job at the Treasury Department that was so important he couldn't talk about it in his letters to Simon, and he stopped responding to Simon's letters about the time he left Jackson.
