Demon

Demons are a kind of magical creature in the world of Scryer's Gulch. Other known magical creatures are ghosts and Were-Folk.

Hermetauxite is to demons what catnip is to cats, only more so. It makes them antsy, and once they are in a hermetauxite-induced frenzy, or simply lying there soaking up the metal’s power in blissful lethargy, they are vulnerable to enslavement by a human with sufficiently strong magic.

According to Misi, demons make good bouncers and, due to their aptitude for numbers, good accountants.

There are two known demons in the town of Scryer's Gulch, although demons would normally avoid the place due to the large hermetauxite deposits: Misi, who is under the control of Annabelle Duniway, and Mamzelle, who is owned by Jedediah Bonham.
