Edwig Townes

Edwig Townes is a minor character in the serial An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom, appearing in book three, The Last Royal Mistress.

Edwig Townes was a young, good looking army captain with blue eyes and blond, curly hair and beard. He met Lisset in Cappel Bay in the fourth year of her loveless marriage to Durrovid Bakerson and seduced her to run away with him to Alzeh, bringing nothing with her but Ototo and her jewelbox. Although he claimed to have money of his own, they lived off the money they got by selling off pieces of Lisset's jewelery. Not long after the two arrived in Crescent Bay, he began cheating on Lisset and treating her badly. During her next dark mood swing he stole most of her jewelery and ran away.
