Fen Wallek

Fen Wallek is a character in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. He is around 18 years old, good looking, red-haired and blue-eyed with an angular face.

Originally from Templestone, he followed his sweetheart Arta to Tremont Keep, where he developed a crush on the flirtatious Ellika. This led to a severe crisis in his relationship with Arta. After Temmin intervened with both of them, Fen is now officially assigned as Temmin's sparring partner. Eventually, the sparring continues under the supervision of Imbert. There he can fruitfully apply his considerable skill at brawling and fisticuffs, which earned him the bare knuckle championship in Valmouth before he came to the Keep. Fen is also in training to become Temmin's secretary, under the tutelage of Winmer.

Fen and Arta were married on the 6th day of Summer's Beginning, 990 KY by Father Nino. The original plan had been to marry at Templestone, but since the royal family had planned to go to their summer retreat at Highhaven around Summer's End and Fen's presence was required, they did not receive permission to leave. Princess Ellika helped arrange the wedding at the Keep instead.

Fen's brother is activist Bern Wallek; they are both descendants of Mihall Wallek, the falconmaster of Macca.
