Harritson

Mr Harritson is a minor character in the serial An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom, appearing in book three, The Last Royal Mistress.

He was a plantation owner in Alzeh who took Lisset as a mistress when he lived separated from his wife. After Mrs Harritson decided to come back to him, he sent her away, offering to pay for passage anywhere Lisset wanted to go and giving her a small amount of money to live on as well.

Years later, when Lisset had to flee from Tremont due to the Guenor Rebellion, she stayed for several weeks at Trevaina's inn near Harritson's plantation again. Mr Harritson's wife had died in the mean time, and remembering their first time together with fondness he invited Lisset back to his plantation. She gladly followed his invitation and lived there in peace and relative happiness until Mr Harritson died.
