Imbert

Brother Imbert is a character in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. He is a Brother of Farr and the fighting instructor of Prince Temmin and Fen Wallek, to whom he refers to as the royal idiot and the redheaded idiot, respectively.

He is around 63 years old, short and stocky, with short, prickly, black hair, hard, dark eyes, and olive skin. It is rumored that his father was a Sairish sailor and his mother a Pau'an warrior woman. What is certain is that he is exceedingly fit and an accomplished fighter.

Imbert was left by his father at the Mother's House in Breitborough, Belleth at age 3. He constantly got into fights as he grew up until Mother Lissellis sent for a Brother of Farr when he was a spoke shy of turning sixteen in 943 KY. The Brother, Torrens, promptly recruited Imbert for postulancy in the Warrior's Temple.
