Laughing Man

Laughing Man is a minor character in Scryer's Gulch, appearing in the standalone story 'Fears Moon Woman.' That story is in the Circlet Press anthology 'Like a Moonrise: Shapeshifter Erotica.'
He is the were-hare who bit Robert Runnels and husband of Little Bird. Laughing Man accidentally bit her during a shape change, and both were-folk were driven from their tribe. They set up camp in the mountains above Scryer's Gulch, drawn like most were-folk to the hermetauxite deposits. Runnels catches him in his were-hare form, not knowing he was actually human; Laughing Man bites him, cursing him to become a were-hare himself.
