Liddy Obby

Liddy Obby is a minor character in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. She is the mother of Allis and Issak.

She was a raven-haired beauty who worked as a whore in the brothel of Mistress Polls. She had accrued considerable bond debt, which she tried, and failed, to work off before she died in 982 KY. Her attempts to protect her children from becoming whores themselves were also doomed to failure, since Mistress Polls sold their virginities to the highest bidder after Liddy's death, thus paying off a third of their debt. Three months after that, though, they were found and rescued by The Teacher.
