Luther Lockson

L. Luther Lockson, commonly known as L.L. Lockson, is a character in the serial Scryer's Gulch. He is the owner of the Voice of the Gulch newspaper. He has a wife, a six year old son named Harry and a school-aged daughter named Fanny. He and his wife have lost a young daughter within the last few months who has turned into a ghost.

Lockson has been in business in Scryer's Gulch for about six months when the story starts.

Two of Lockson's most distinctive features are his large head (hat size 7 7/8) and the equally large amount of purple prose leaving said enormous cranium by various means. Judging by the content of some of that prose, he is a stout follower of the Method.
