Mamzelle

Mamzelle, actually Mamzellarrainatta Daughter of Zelliniasipatiri, is a character in the serial Scryer's Gulch. She is a demon and has been under the control of Jedediah Bonham for about a year. Her form is that of a beautiful woman, with the only aspects of her looks that are under her influence being her hair and eye color. Judging by Misi's reaction when they first meet, she is quite attractive to other demons, too. Her French accent is an affectation for the benefit of Jed Bonham, who apparently likes it and demands that she speak that way. He also prefers her blonde. Mamzelle speaks fluent Chinese, which is useful since both her head cook Chen and his two assistants are Chinese and don't speak much English.

Mamzelle runs Mamzelle’s Palace, the town brothel. She spends much of her time dreaming up scenarios in which she tortures her owner to death, and burns up the Palace and the whole town. Her bloodthirstiness is not typical for demons, though, and her general hatred for humans seems to be a result of how poorly Bonham is treating her.
