Mannell

Mistress Mannell is a minor character in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. She is the housekeeper of Tremont Keep. She is a widow, but when her husband was still alive, she lived in Spring Cottage on the grounds of the Keep. This, combined with her misty-eyed reaction at catching a glimpse of the bed room of the cottage when she installed Fen and Arta there, might suggest that she was one of Harsin's mistresses at one point, since, as Teacher said, "to live at Spring Cottage is the aspiration of every family at the Keep. [...] Spring Cottage is a reward for services rendered."
