Neya the Beloved is a goddess from An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. She is one of the Lovers, alongside her twin brother, Nerr. They are the youngest children of Pagg and Amma. Neya is the object of pleasure and the goddess of poetry and song. Her embodiment in Tremont as of 990 KY is Allis Obby.
Her day of the week, Neyaday, corresponds to our Friday. Her holiday is Spring's End, corresponding to our Beltane or May Day.
Symbolism
Neya's colors are white and pink. Her animals are the cow and the swan. Her symbols are sweets of all kinds; sweets are given to royal infants at presentation ceremonies in Her name.
Neya is based on Freya, Isis, and the female half of various other mythological brother/sister pairings. The Lovers art aspects come from Apollo.
