Nurse

Nurse is a character from An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. She lives at the ducal keep in Whithorse where she served as nursemaid first to Queen Ansella and then to Ansella's children, Sedra, Ellika, and Temmin.

Nurse is known for her "mother hen" fussing over her charges and for her home remedies for the common ailments of childhood. Her prized cure-alls include goose fat and a diet of plain custards and garlic beef broth or beef tea.
