SEDRA pron. SED-drah

Sedra is a character from An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. She is Temmin's oldest sister, sister to Ellika and unknowing half-sister to Mattie; she was born the 44th Day of Winter's End in 969 KY. She is known as Seddy in the family. She takes after her father, Harsin IV, both physically and intellectually, but she has her mother Ansella's hot temper. Like her father, Sedra is thoughtful and intellectual as well as blisteringly intelligent. She loves books, writing and long walks by herself, and is infamous for her habit of reading stacks of newspapers every day at breakfast (hilarity sometimes ensues).

Tall, regal in bearing, dark-haired and dark-eyed like her father, Sedra is not the beauty her sister Ellika is, but is a very lovely young woman in her own right. Her taste in clothing is tasteful but minimalist, lending itself to grays, blues, roses and shades of red, especially Tremontine red.

Sedra's maid and close friend is Camma Sinsett. Sedra is also friends with at least one of her peers, the young noblewoman Despilla Sandopint.

Sedra is a character from An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. She is Temmin's 19-year-old sister, sister to Ellika and unknowing half-sister to Mattie; she was born some time in Spring's Beginning 971 KY. She is known as Seddy in the family. She takes after her father, Harsin IV, both physically and intellectually, but she has her mother Ansella's hot temper. Like her father, Sedra is thoughtful and intellectual as well as blisteringly intelligent. She loves books, writing and long walks by herself, though unbeknownst to most, her walks often end up in visits to the Traveler Queen and her son Connin, with whom she's had a sexual relationship. She also seems to have had at least a crush on the Teacher. She reads stacks of newspapers every day. Sedra had intended to become a devotee of Eddin until recent circumstances resulted in her declaring for the Bloody One on Spring's End, 20th day of 990 KY.

Sedra is engaged to Brinnid, the king of Sairland, in a diplomatic negotiation that she has no say in. She was unsure how she feels about it, but was intrigued by Brinnid's gift of falconing accessories; there is no tradition of falconing or captive wild birds of any kind in Tremont as a result of the experiences of Warin the Wise and his wife, Emmae, specifically Emmae's captivity. Once he arrived in Tremont, Brinnid devoted considerable effort to courting her despite the fact that their engagement was a foregone conclusion, and they are now genuinely fond of each other.

Sedra's maid and close friend is Camma. Sedra is also friends with at least one of her peers, the young noblewoman Despilla Sandopint.
