"The Curse of the Traveler Queen" is the story Teacher tells Temmin in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom's first book, Lovers and Beloveds; it is contained in its entirety in that novel as a story-in-story. It tells the story of how the kingdom of Tremont absorbed the neighboring kingdom of Leute (later Litta) in the east via the marriage of Warin the Wise and the Princess Edmerka, also known as Emmae, the only child and heir of Fredrik the Last of Leute. Warin combined the two kingdoms on the death of Fredrik during the fight between Hildin the Usurper and Warin for the throne. The story is set ca. 166 KY.

"The Tale of Two Kingdoms" is the first story The Teacher tells Temmin in An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. It tells the story of how the kingdom of Tremont absorbed the neighboring kingdom of Leutefloss in the east via the marriage of Warin the Wise and the Princess Edmerka, also known as Emmae, the only child and heir of Fredrik the Last of Leutefloss. Their son, Gethin III, became ruler of Leutefloss on the death of his grandfather, and combined the two kingdoms on the death of his father. The story is set ca. 166 KY.
