Twilight

Twilight is a lesser god from An Intimate History of the Greater Kingdom. He is the son of Eddin and Venna.

Eddin fell in love with Venna and attempted to court her, but she would not have him because she loves only women. He learned the secrets of the spirits and used them to transform into a beautiful woman, who Venna soon fell in love with. However, Eddin was not able to maintain the form in the throes of passion, and transformed back into a male. Venna did not resist, but was angered by the deception. She later found herself with child and gave birth to Twilight.

Twilight travels ahead of his mother every night, as she sails across the sky in the boat of the moon.
